Craaaaazy Anime

My second post, things are going well! Now I just need to encourage people to actually read what I post and I’ll be well on my way to creating a good blog.

The theme of this post is all about something a friend showed me the other day. I am quite in to Anime and things like that, but not the rubbish pathetic dubbed Anime you see on British TV; I’m talking about authentic uncensored Japanese Anime. A great place to go if you’re interested in watching Anime is http://www.veoh.com. (On a side note, I’m planning on adding a links page where you can find this link and more). Anyway, this Anime I’m talking about is called “Azumanga Daioh”. It’s all about 6 schoolgirls and their daily school life, but don’t be thrown off by that! Lets just say that sometimes things can get a little bit crazy. Especially in Episode 8 where they have their “New Years Dreams”. Also just from watching the opening credits and reading the lyrics (such as “Mainichi fuwa fuwa”, meaning “Every day is fluffy”), you will probably be in stiches before the Anime even starts! My favourite character is Kimura-Sensei, the perverted teacher who seems to have an obsession with girls in swimsuits!! Anyway, trust me and give it a try, I’m sure you’ll like it!

You’re probably wondering how things are going with my getting a Corn Snake campaign? No? Well, I’m going to tell you how it’s going anyway. The answer is still no, so my thoughts are that I’m just going to have to wait until the second year of University when I can get rented accommodation. So much for the whole snake obsession…

On another topic… WOW! The brand new MacBook Air is here and my god does it look stunning! I would get one but we all know that that isn’t going to happen with the fact that it doesn’t have an optical drive (for those with “techno-phobia” that’s a CD or DVD drive) and it has a hefty price tag of £1,199. Not really worth it…

On another note, just 10 minutes ago I had an English lesson. We have to write a book suitable for children in an age bracket of our choice. I chose 10-12 since then I can write something remotely like a novel, but unfortunately I managed to get myself roped into having to interview Year 7s tomorrow to see what sort of books they like. Oh dear…

Coming soon: The “Links” page, the “Videos” page and the “Anime” page! Stay tuned! Thanks for reading my blog and please leave comments!
